Unfortunately one of our neighbouring areas East Midlands Folk Dance and Song Group has had to disband as its active participants were unable to commit themselves to further committee duties.

This is a fate which looms over all voluntary organisations, lack new and younger membership was placing too heavy a burden on those few willing to serve, until they had no option but to close.

 

As we know there are many who have enjoyed East Midlands meets in the past, so North Central has decided to take on running as many of the previously advertised meets as possible.

 

Welbeck 13th-15th June is cancelled as it conflicts with an existing North Central meet

Seagrave 25th to 27th July will run as advertised

Hose   15th-17th August is cancelled as it would mean running three meets on consecutive weekends
